Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 1

Harry Potter (2010)

The penultimate film to the worlds most well-know phenomenon is an action packed adventure packed with lots of magic and romantic themes.

The film that broke worldwide records have once again produced a well-made film filled with many CGI effects. Having read the book, I am very annoyed at the lack of detail entered into the film but casting efforts have sucessfully let me take a breath of fresh after they have been saved by the ability to cast the perfect parts with actors.

Ron, Harry and Hermione have left Hogwarts school in search of the Horcruxes to finally bring down the notorius Lord Voldermort. Despite beginning and ending in an exciting manner the center of the film is very slow and not very much happens which lets the film down a lot.

The good things about the film are the ending: the film is left on a huge cliffhanger as Voldermort sucessfully manages to get The Elder Wand (the most powerful wand in existence). When I went to see it in my local cinema the audience growned at the shock of the finale to the first of a duo of final films

In conclusion, I fear that people who have not read the books will struggle to understand the storyline of this film however many will be impressed with the technology used to create effects in this wonderful film

I give this film 7.5/10
